I did not in any way expect today to go well. Like at all. But today was a really nice day. Nothing shittastic happened, and I didn't have any insta-breakdown moments, and I feel all optimistic and stuff. It's weird. I quite like it actually.
So here's where the serendipity comes in: I was recently on facebook chattin it up with my buds, when this random kid IMs me. And we had abunch of mutual friends and he lived in another state so I decided he wasn't a stalker and I talked to him. For an hour. And after 15 mins, he totally opened up and we were having this deep conversation. I had never met this kid in my life, and suddenly he's telling me about heartbreak.
Ok, 1) yeah that's probably a sign that he's over sensitive, but that's ok. 2) this is not the first, or even the third time I've met someone and after like 10 mins they start telling me their life story. Luckily this kid was interesting, but I mean, is that normal? Does everyone tell their recent struggles to people that they are just meeting? Or am I just like a brain-ninja or something? I mean, this guy I was talking to was super cool, but I honestly was a little surprised at how after only knowing me over IM for a matter of minutes he suddenly was like... confiding in me.
Idk. People are strange.
That happens to me too.

And you're a great listener.
I remember one of the first times we talked. I told you all about my family and the police and how weird everything had gotten.
