3 am post, let's do this! And this is a happy one, I promise :)
A crazy lady at a bus stop made me sing to her today. There I was, waiting with Cassi to catch the bus to Boulder, and this woman comes up and starts talking to us. We played along until somehow the subject of singing was brought up, and the lady suggested that I go on American Idol and then asked me to sing her something. After exchanging a signofocantly scared glance with Cassi, I regaled the lady with some Mariah Carey. The lady told us that her name was Tracy, pronounced T-racy.
I think she was the most memorable stranger I talked to all day.
Anyway, Cassi and I ended up in Denver, where we had Jesus-burgers (nicknamed as such because they are divinely good) and then bought stuff and walked around. Successful day.
But now it's 3 am and sleep evades me.I entertained myself for a while by cleaning my room and taping things to my door. I finished mydoor, which is to say I completely covered the inner side with stuff. My door has been an ongoing project for quite some time now... It's always in my pictures and I think I mentioned it in the video blog I did forever ago... anyway, it's done and I'm happy.
I'm going to dip-dye the ends of my hair dark pink, I have decided. I'm glad my mono-induced depression is wearing off.
Laaaaahhhhhh (the sound a Jesus-burger makes. You should try one, it'll be a religious experience)

I love meeting strangers :)
ReplyDeleteWell, you know, within reason...
Kay's comment above reminds me of that quote from Clue, "Why not? I enjoy receiving presents from strange men." Sorry, that was inappropriate.
ReplyDeleteJesus burgers. That sounds both sacreligious and cannibalistic.
If you're having trouble sleeping, why not follow the example of Fight Club and go to cancer support groups?
T-racy sounds cool. The way you said that she described her name reminds me of John Coffey from The Green Mile. "John Coffey, like the drink. Except spelled different."
I'm listening to "Elenor" by the Turtles and all seem right with the world. But this isn't about me. This is about you. How are you?
