Ahh, foreign countries. Such fun. I mean, you know you're in France when coffee is cheaper than water and everywhere you look there are well-dressed men smoking cigarettes. Admitedly, the accents were sexier in London, but I think I enjoyed Paris just a tad more.
It has to be said: I felt completely and utterly American. The school group I went with was full of ignorant people and we did basically every tourist-y thing imaginable. However, seeing Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower are two pretty unforgettable experiences. Also, the real-life Mona Lisa was a tad anti-climactic, I liked the Venus de Milo better.
And the clothes!! Did I mention the clothes?? On Oxford Circus and the Champs Elysee, God the shopping was divine. Absolutely fantastic. My inspirational tank has been refilled :) I love the fashion-awareness that everyone has. Comparing the way people dress in Paris to the way they dress in Denver is like comparing Ralph Lauren to Wal-Mart own brand t shirts.
Holy Hell, I want to go back. I just want to live in London. In fact, I think I will some day. I'll develop a cute accent, learn to drink Stella, develop a smoking habit, and dress like a femme fatale. Yeah..
Do you guys want more pictures, or is that good?
DING FUCKING DONG (the sound Big Ben makes every hour on the hour)

More pictures, please. I'd love to see the divine shopping you speak of.
