Manly Tones

So the rave was... not what raves usually are. It was tiny, admittedly hella fun (but probably only because of the group I went with), but interesting. The headlining DJ kept staring at me and smiling.

After it was over, we ended up chilling and chain smoking, giving the evening the customary post-mortem. We all had a great time and felt really stoked on the whole night. The go gos loved our group and the photographers took tons of pictures of us, not to mention how much we got checked out by all the cute guys. It was a huge confidence booster.

And then, today, I've felt completely the opposite. I'm speaking in manly tones due to the chain smoking, and after showering the rave away, I feel rather unattractive. Despite being the object of several dudes' desire last night, today I feel wholly undesirable.

I'm beginning to realize that to Fsb, I really was just convenient. And it was fun, and I can't blame him, but it's still sort of a shitty feeling to know that we'll probably never get any farther than this. Maybe that's just the way it seems right now... I don't know. Fsb's not really a hopeless romantic, so I don't expect any adorable shit. He seems to be constantly preoccupied, which means that I obviously don't matter too much in his grand scheme of things.

Eh. On to the next one, I suppose.
