Stifling

The Mackey Auditorium at the University of Colorado is one of my favorite theaters. The entire thing is painted this Easter egg pink on the inside and there are these grimy windows that let in yellowy light above the balconies. Plus, the acoustics are sublime.

I spent today at the Mackey for a choir festival thing. The festival sucked, but we got to see an operatic duet performed by two of the university music faculty, and that was fantastic. I love opera. It's one of my weird vices. I'm a sucker for a good opera.

Anyway.

Still rocking the man voice, although now it's more sexy than painful. I'm developing a sensual husk when I speak. It's quite entertaining, especially when I talk to guys.

And in this small town, there's not much entertainment but guys...

I'm still swag-jacking like a ninja! If you haven't left me questions yet, please do!

Jules

PS: Scooby Doo fruit snacks are the bomb dot com.

  1. Fruit candy=disgusting. Totally not the bomb.com. I know this is true because just a second ago I actually typed in bomb.com into my search bar and it so happens that as of yet no one has purchased that domain name. It must be really expensive. Did you know that money for domain names goes to the government? I learned that today because some of my uber-nerd friends are setting me up with a website for my web comic. Sorry. I'm talking about me again. I need to do that less.

Anyway, it sounds like you've had a fulfilling day. I've never liked opera very much at all, but I played Soldier #7 as well as the back half of a bull in Carmen in sixth grade.

Thinking about that husky voice of yours is turning me on. Did you know there's a setting on the Garmin GPS where you can change the voice to "Husky?" I turn that on whenever I get especially lonely.

    Good day.

  2. I loooooove fruit snacks! I have gummy vitamins that are INCREDIBLY hard to resist when I want something sweet.

I'm not a big opera guy either, unless it's a rock opera like The Wall or Tommy. Then, I just feel awesome!

Question for swag-jacking: If you had a Garmin, would you turn the setting onto "Husky" and then compete with it? Because that'd be hilarious!
