I was rejected from Columbia.

Looking at things critically, it's likely that I'll get rejected from Harvard and Stanford as well. If Harvard rejects me, it will break my heart into a million tiny pieces, but I think it'll be easier if I see it coming. Let's face it, I've never been good enough.

I just dreamed too big.
Looks like I'm going to school in Cleveland after all.

  1. condolences. who could ever reject you, Julia? you're awesome. yeah, I didn't even try for my day's alma matter Princeton, but I think that was more out of location than fear. is Cal still a possibility for you?

  3. If it makes you feel any better I didn't get into Mines after they gave me a scholarship last year (I didn't study for my ACT enough). When it comes to colleges we all face rejection (lets face it there is very little validity in the acceptance process).
I hope it works out for you for the best. :) I'd like to think things like that happen for a reason. Although admittedly it's kind of odd to think: "My dreams have been crushed for the better" it just doesn't sound right. Either way I'm sure it'll work out one way or another.
    Take care.
