Ok, sorry for all the lametastic posts about my turbulent soon-to-be exit from cheerleading. It's obnoxious for me to chronicle it, and I apologize for focusing on it instead of more important, less shallow subjects. So, in an effort to show you few and foreign followers of mine that I have, in fact, retained all of the intelligence that I had prior to bleaching my hair and picking up the pom-poms, I will be posting a Lincoln-Douglas-esque case criticizing society's focus on superficial beauty.
I'm on my school's debate team (believe it or not, I'm a walking contradiction...) so I need to practice case-writing anyway. Plus I feel especially shallow going on and on about how much I despise cheerleading.
Unfortunately, my chemistry teacher is trying to kill me via heart attack and possible drowning under all of the homework that she assigned, so I'll be posting my smart-sounding case against society's focus on superficial beauty later.
