Obligatory Prom Post

First thing's first:
I made that ACT my bitch. I mean, I was exhausted and probably scored low on the math section (no surprises there) but I think I may have gotten better than a 26 at least.

SO. Now that I am far less stressed than I was last night, I feel like I can finally share about my lovely prom on Saturday :)

The evening started with my huge group of rich HHS kids (I went to the HHS prom, not the GHS one, which was on the same night) and we all gathered at this one girl's massive and beautiful house to take pictures. I didn't realize how huge our group was until I got there, but it was seriously almost 30 of us, plus everyone's parents were running around fawning over all of us and taking pictures.

Lionboy was my date (duh!) and he bought me a corsage. It had real flowers and rhinestones and it matched my dress and it was super pretty!

We all boarded the white stretch SUV limo (oh, rich kids...) and went to this super fancy Mediterranean restaurant in Boulder for dinner, which was fab. Lionboy and I shared a variable mountain of tapas.

After dinner, it was off to the actual dance. Prom was held at the club level of the university football stadium at CU. The venue was amazing! There was a little snack bar with fondue and there were windows on all sides. It was like prom was being held in a penthouse. Big ups to StuCo on that one.

As for the dance itself? I kicked off my obscenely high-heeled shoes and danced the night away! My group went totally nuts on the dance floor. I shook down with all the gay kids, which was endlessly entertaining. I was having so much fun, it seemed like the dance was really short.

After, we all got back on the limo and went back to the girl's house, and while everyone was changing for after-prom (I don't know if other schools do this, but at HHS, after-prom there's mock gambling and raffles and a bouncey castle set up in school's small gym and people just have fun until like, 2) I went immediately to my car and drove to Fort Collins.

I went to Technicolor Boy's house. I was still in my dress when I arrived, which was amusing, but after  changed, we watched Disney movies and cuddled all night. It was glorious.

All in all, fab prom. The bar has been set pretty high for next year. So now, pictures!! (I'm the tiny blonde in the bright blue dress)

this was our humongous group outside the limo

 us on the stairs

We were joking around after dinner waiting for the limo to pick us up to bring us to the dance, so we figured, hey, more pictures.
Lionboy is the one in the blue jacket. We're Charlie's Angels!

SO yeah. Prom :)
